The competition took place over five qualifying rounds, with each round focusing on a different part of the NOW catalogue: Now Eras, Now Yearbooks, Now Main Series, Now 12" 80s, and Specials & One-Offs. Voters selected their favourites in each category, with the winning album from every round progressing to a Grand Final.
The Grand Final brought together the five category winners in one final vote to determine the overall Now Music Wiki Release of the Year 2025.
